Nestled beside the enchanting Forest of Bowland, Ye Horns Inn has been a cherished haven for locals and travellers alike for centuries. Originally known as the Buck Horns, this coaching inn dates back to 1782 and was once part of a working farm.
In the inter-war years, the inn underwent a thoughtful refit, introducing render and mock timber to the exterior and creating welcoming dining spaces. This transformation aimed to craft a more refined pub experience, reflecting a shift towards enhancing the atmosphere while reducing the excessive drinking often associated with traditional Victorian and Edwardian public houses.

Fast forward to January 2017, when Ye Horns Inn was awarded a Grade II listing, recognising its architectural significance and the preservation of its original features. The pub’s unique characteristics have also earned it a spot on the Campaign for Real Ale’s National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors, highlighting its importance within the community.
A new chapter began in 2018 with new ownership, who embarked on sensitive renovations to enhance the inn’s original charm and character while elevating the dining experience. Today, Ye Horns Inn offers a delightful menu showcasing the best of Lancashire, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, all in a warm and inviting atmosphere where new memories can be made, honouring its rich heritage.
